Have you been wondered what all the hype is about when it comes to juicing, blending, and cold-pressed concoctions?
You want to start eating healthy but you are lost, overwhelmed and don’t know where to start? I hear you, I get it. I was once there. I didn’t understand, nor did I care. Until the day I firmly made the commitment to change my life around. I became self aware of my body, and my eating habits. That’s when I discovered the magic of juicing.
Maybe you were like me who thought that only the affluent could really afford a health-conscious lifestyle because they were the only ones who could afford it. I was constantly under the impression that to eat right you have to pay the price.
Boy, was I wrong. With the right knowledge, research and conviction to want to live longer and healthier, I have come to understand the term, eat to live.
I was in the dark when it came to eating natural foods, organic and from the ground as mother nature intended rather than the boxed processed junk we consume daily. I was naive and more invested in what my Saturday night looked like. It was for that I payed the price. I neglected to listen to my body when it rejected the horrific foods I was eating.
Today it seems as though we are burdened and over exposed to an abundant selection of processed goods that when it comes to hunger, we literally do not know the difference between what is unhealthy and/or harmful and what is good and healing.
I think food is one of our greatest gifts. An asset, yet we abuse it.
How is it that we are supposed to be more advanced today than ever before, except so many of us are still completely unaware of the distress and danger we put our bodies through?
I’m here to tell you that to be healthy can be easy and not as hard or expensive as you think. Or even complicated. The idea for me and how I keep it simple (K.I.S.S.) is that I stick to CLEAN eating. One of the best and most proven ways to accomplish this is through juicing with the NutriBullet Rx.
In my opinion, the NutriBullet Rx is revolutionary. It does everything a blender and juicer can do in one. The only difference is, it’s not a juicer. If that’s the kind of thing you’re into.
On the reverse spectrum. In terms of sound, the noise level is moderate compared to its younger siblings, so making morning smoothies might not be agreeable, but not a deal breaker.
* This new version can break down the toughest foods such as ice and nuts down to its essential and absorbable nutrients compared to many juicers with a 2.3 horsepower motor.
* Its programmed with SMART technology to know just the right RPM, stop at just the right time with the right intervals for the perfect amount of time. It takes the guess work out, leaving it that much easier to enjoy the most nutritional smoothie ever. I think it’s genius.
Nevertheless, this blender has saved me many times and in so many ways. While there are countless options to choose from, the NutriBullet is not only a convenient choice but doesn’t break the bank either.
Whether you’re single, a busy mom of four, body builder or just starting the gym, this blender will save you so much time. Seriously, you’ll wonder why you weren’t juicing all your life.
Here are 7 reasons why this is the best investment you’ll ever make.
Programmed to optimize your nutrition intake. Designed to maintain the superfoods integrity and composition to benefit and absorb as much as possible.
Extract vs. Blend
While juicing is a great option, I find dealing with the pulp kind of a hassle, and I HATE to waste. Juicing essentially removes the fibres were the NutriBullet Rx pulverizes and keeps the fibres but breaks it down into fine particles making it easier for consumption turning ordinary foods into a juice. The turbo extractor blades breaks down the cell walls to make nutrients bioavailable. You can’t say that about your typical blender. Blending simply crushes everything down into liquid form.
To be honest, this is one of my most favourites reasons why I love juicing. I get to eat more fruits and veggies in once serving and I don’t even have to turn on the oven. Not to mention incorporating raw foods into my diet has dramatically improved my health.
Not Limited to Juice
I like options, especially when it comes to food. The NutriBullet Rx not only makes juice, smoothies or even dips but can now be used to make soups. What’s even better is that it heats it up too, a slight shortcoming of the previous model. Who doesn’t love options?
Reduces your Clean Up Time by Half
Even for the busiest of busy. Working parents, athletes or even college folk, everyone wants to optimize their time. To be productive, not wasteful. Just the thought of being able to have a full meal in one glass with minimal clean up should be enough reason to give it a try.
Fast and Compact
In a hurry and need to go? No problem, gather all your ingredients the night before, store in the refrigerator. Juice the next morning, pop the Flip-top lid-to-go and your on your way in minutes with a complete nutritional breakfast. You cant get any more convenient than that.
Easy to use
Comes without an on/off switch, no adjustments and no time settings. This bad boy does all the work for you. When it comes time to clean, simply wash, rinse and store away.

What to do when life gives you lemons?
For all you beginners out there. I want to help you get started.
I love recipes as much as the next person. As helpful as they can be, oftentimes can be discouraging. When we realize we don’t have all the ingredients or that we have to continuously shop for them, or when we don’t even know what their uses are, it’s easy to give up and not follow through.
To guide you, here are some helpful basic principles that will encourage you to juice even without a recipe. No excuses.
First Plan of Action: Start with a Base
You could either use one or more of the following:
Water (purifired preferred)
Almond, Cashew Milk
Second Plan of Action: Choose Your Fruits and Veggies
When I make smoothies in the morning I love to stick with fruit. For lunch or dinner, green smoothies is ideal.
I think bananas or avocado are the best option for any base for their thick and adaptable consistency. After that you can add any other fruit. I like to add only two more max.
If I were to make a green smoothie, I would choose one green, one fruit, lemon or ginger (always) and a superfood powder such as;
bee pollen, maca powder, moringa, flax seed, chia seed, protein, turmeric, raw cacao, hemp seeds and plenty more
You could add a healthy sweeter but its not necessary due to the sweetness in the fruits. But here are some excellent options;
Lucuma powder, agave syrup, manuka honey, cinnamon
Here are some fantastic recipes to consider and get you started right away.
